This morning i woke up and discovered that my alarm was turned off. that wasn't really a problem, i woke up about 45 minutes before i had to be out of the door, not a big deal, i work about 10 minutes in rush hour traffic from my office. but still, its disconcerting since i specifically turned in on and subconsciously turned it off.
then i discovered that my Nixon was dead. i mean wow. died at around 3:20am. will i have a battery put in it? probably, but it really got me thinking, maybe my Nixon's time was up because its time for me to get something unique that says i am an adult. i looked at a couple watches, of course i looked at the Nixons first, but i thought maybe i might go with something... less Nixony, i mightve found that watch too... but its like $110 out of my price range at the moment.. or the next moment .. or any moments in the future. $#@% it. im poor. ill just wear my pirate watch to work, not like i need them to take me seriously.

how odd, i always planned to use this song on thursday. i never thought i would be feeling it. Trivia: the "come on man!" at the beginning of this song is not scripted. LL was having a (now famous) conflict with the engineer of the track. after several attempts LL's patience was thin, and his emotions exploded on the track... resulting in a platinum classic and more money for him. it pays to be a #$%@.
