Here comes a rant. Now, recently i've heard plies for the first time. i ran the name through youtube like i do so many words and phrases i hear after looking it up on wikipedia (i love wikipedia by the way), and i was immediately satisfied by what i found on youtube from Plies. i found that i wasn't the only one in the world who found him amazingly retarded. not just diss records, people find his music ridiculous. some people even agree with me that a majority of these southern rappers are jokes.

Look, we did retarded already in the 90's it was called Juvenile. We did that. it's over. it seems like all these rappers want to be retarded back. they don't realize they're embarrassing themselves. but then again how can then when they so easily expose the willing of majority of women to degrade themselves and ignore repeated mockery and oppression in the music industry. Since success is viewed by youth as the acquisition of the attention of women (which is considered easily done by acquiring wealth which they historically have limited women's abilities to acquire) and women continue to dance to crap music that calls them whores and bitches regardless of the profound extent of their educations (which nowadays are statistically greater than men's), then these guys are viewed as "cool". its perpetuated by ignorance and rhythm. this is the new culture which they have defamed as hip hop.
when classy becomes cool, rappers and singers who are, in fact, idiots will vanish. i am sure of this. but that's never been the case since everyone wants to stand out, and non-conformity stands out. education and good manners is considered conformity, so they imitate non-conformity and now they all have conformed to the counter culture and they all look like idiots together - which in itself is a comfortable conformity. So they want to stand out, but they also want to conform.

So now rappers look like clowns, and the kids imitate them, and the young adults make fun of them.
you seriously cant blame hip hop for all of this. i blame the damn Beatles... and maybe the rolling stones. it was harmless when everyone was wearing military surplus jackets and trying to screw each other. at least some of those guys seemed moderately educated and just looked homeless. Nowadays though, they're ignoring the educated seeming and wearing the standard, no-shirt, puffy white boxers, and sagging their jeans and trying to put their penises in young teenage girl's mouths... while filming it for later use on the internet.

i'm positive there is a strategy for reversal.
it would entail actually controlling the media which i don't think anyone wants.
