It has been a while since Jamie and i have been technically mobile so as a treat i went out and got us a pair of new laptops. i got myself a gaming machine so that i can go to anyone's house and game on the go. i got Jamie a cute-machine so she could throw down her digital hotness.

Both machine's are dual core 2.5 and 2.3 intel centrino's with 64 bit operating systems and windows vista premium. i really haven't ever had a machine that ran this well. not even the twins that i built with my own hands. each has 4GB of ram and hers has a 350GB HDD while mine has a 500GB. her laptop is a 13" and very lightweight, mine is 15" and heavy. one thing you'll notice they both have in common is, they're made by ASUS.

we use a lot of ASUS parts and pieces here at work and i've come to have a great deal of faith in their hardware. when i looked at the prices on different brand names of laptops ASUS not only offered me better specs than most of the affordable companies, but the price was also excellent.

we're also getting a pair of puppies...
and the fish tank is coming along nicely.

she leaves hers at home all the time, and she tried to set up gmail on her windows mail client, but i don't know how that worked out. i try and let her venture into small jaunts into nerd territory on her own to strengthen her technical independence. she's a special lady and a very exciting girl.

She has been trying to tell me other names, but i wont listen. i also threatened to call the puppies nate and snoop when she wasn't around so they would answer to it regardless of what she calls them.
