If you didnt know about the ongoing struggle for the hobbit movie, i will fill you in just a bit. When peter jackson finished the lord of the rings stuff he expressed several times that he would do a prequel to it if things went the right way. after that he entered into a revenue dispute with new line. because of that, all dreams of returning to a more relaxed Hobbiton were crushed.. until now! New Line and Wingnut have squashed their beef and they're gettin back to what matters. and we all know what that means.
The Hobbit is comming! looks like Jackson isnt going to direct it, but he is making two of them! now whenever i get excited about something like this, i hear my best friends voice hating his way out of the bushes. the hobbit is significantly different from Lord of the Rings and much more fun and a lot more action packed. they are splitting it in two, which means most likely they wont cut out Beorn and we'll get a lot more time for Lake town, Bard, and Dale. Ian McKellen is back again as Gandalf.
