Yo mack, i cant even understand how they didnt understand you on that Mary joint. kick that old robotic futuristic George Jetson crazy $#!% -- that was the intro that started it all. when i heard this... on the radio... back in 94 i didn't ask questions. we all just wanted more. some emcees accused him of being a redman wannabe, while others accused him of being a buster rhymes imitator. he was sort of both.
This was a different time really. animosity toward Diddy (then, Puff Daddy) wasn't as high and Tupac and Biggie had finished their rookie seasons and were still alive, and started making music together.
Craig Mack - Flava in ya ear
i know he wouldnt last long on the label when he made the song "When god comes", where he said:
And radio ya need to be ashamed,
For pumping murder, murder, murder all up in our brain
I'll tell ya now Big Poppa don't like it,
Representing truth when the Mack starts to mike it
I hope the subject don't turn ya away
But the whole Hip-Hop generation need to pray
after the release of the album, Craig Mack accused Puffy of stealing money from him and also the hip hop community could see that puffy was putting more energy into blowing up Biggie that Craig Mack and so in the same year his first album came out, he left bad boy. yea... you're just not cut out for bad boy and shadey-ass puff daddy, p-diddy, diddy, Craig Mack.
