H2O - Hip Hop is dead?

i'm horrified to announce that yet another influential someone is dead in hip hop. i know what youre thinking. youre thinking, "its kanye right?! 50 killed him!!" no... im afraid not... not yet.

Pimp C from UGK was found dead in his hotel and they've asked us all not to speculate on his almost certain drug usage and possible involvement in dangerous sexual activities in Los Angeles. since they're hushing it up, i would like to speculate that this was involving cocaine dispensing space robots, fondling homosexual bears wearing spiked jackets, or machine gun mounted, diamond encrusted, carnivorous, armadillos.

I've known Chad since he was 18, and we loved him dearly and he was a cherished member of the Jive family."

now just to be clear, the guy did some good in the end. he was against the glorification of prison life and jail in hip hop. thats saying something considering he went to jail and it made UGK more famous than they ever wouldve been if he hadnt been locked up.

while i feel his death is tragic, id like to hear the cause. it sounds like another sublime incident. drug overdose or something. i have no sympathy for drug overdoses.
