Almost 18 years ago i was at a comic book store / clubhouse with my friends when one of them brought in what would be almost the end of us. Sid Meier's: Civilization. it would be several years before we would finally break the shackles and return to the outdoors. the game even followed us out of the comic book store as they added internet based versus to their sequels over our 19k and 56k modems. but one day i did it. i said goodbye to my beloved Babylonian and Sioux (Dark Jed/Sith over multi-player) empires and emerged from my lair to heavily re-up with the opposite sex again.
please believe, no game ever got a hold on me like that game did again. not even Diablo II or World of Warcraft. so how do you think i feel when i heard about this:
Legendary game designer Sid Meier brings one of the greatest strategy games of all time to Xbox 360®. Built from the ground up for console gamers, Sid Meier's Civilization: Revolution challenges you to lead your chosen nation from the dawn of man to the space age on your quest to rule the world. Go head to head against history's greatest leaders as you wage war, conduct diplomacy, discover new technologies, and build the most powerful empire the world has ever known.
the new Demo includes single and multi-player. you evil bastards! i cant promise i wont download this almost immediately when i come home. its Civ... help.
