When i think of movies i enjoyed thoroughly, the first movie that comes to mind would be star wars, any episode. but then once we get past that my tastes go international leaving me with the warm feeling you can only get watching Chow Yun Fat waste like, 30 guys and never have to reload his nine milli, shotgun, or .38, unless its an explicit part of the choreography. the killer, hard boiled, and a better tomorrow get me juiced, like Wesley Snipes beating up hundreds of white vampires and posing like Bruce Lee at the tournament on Han's island.

John Woo long ago said, "there will be a sequel to Hard Boiled." after a few years, two John Travolta movies, Chow Yun Fat saying that he would rather do more dramatic roles, and a Mission Impossible 2 that we all thought would end John's career, we said, "Yea right".

at first i read a couple whispers about it, and then i saw... stranglehold. ohhhh, isht! it has it all, the Max Payne bullet time, unnecessary acrobatics, two-gun-leaping, and of course... Officer Tequila, the killing machine exploding everything at high resolution!
