So i originally intended to spend my working time today fixing computers and also using the secondary focus my ADD addled brain building a website for my sister-in-law so i can get paid quicker and not have to buckle down and work hella hard on the one i will be building for her when my wife and nephew decided to get new phones in my face.

i had just had my phone replaced by the insurance company seeing as it was lost to me. well in the end, i ended up with the same old phone and my wife ended up with a brand spanking new one. i cried, but you know, not forever. i'm a get even kind of guy.

why would i want to get even with my wife and nephew who i love for getting new phones? simple, one word. Android.

i have been highly interested in android from day one and my wife and nephew didnt really know what it was. now i am the only one who is without an android phone and im the only one who wanted one. so im doing what any red-blooded, fremen quoting nerd would do. I'm installing it on my old phone to see if it works and then im going to install it on the newer phone knowing the dangers. yea. that's right. i'll make it work.

i got it working, but it burns through the battery like nothing and the sound doesn't work (or GPS or Voicemail or WIFI). But it boots up and i can download apps and send text messages and do gmail.
