just because i dont want to forget what ive been thinking about all this, im going to write it down here.
the police are, and have always been, a huge source of aggravation to the people, including places like, anywhere, to specifically everyone regardless of race. you can argue all day whos had the worst experience, but its not over till they've killed you... which they just might.
ive had more than a few run-ins with the cops, nothing to write home about, pulled over for driving while black, sat down on the curb while my pockets and backpack were illegally searched when i was younger, asked dozens of ridiculous personal questions without any reason of suspicion while walking home from the bar, and usually told that if i didnt do what i was told (by them) i would taken down to the station. i love when people tell their cop stories and they're told "they cant do that", cause you know what, they do and they probably will continue to do whatever they want. the cops are the biggest, toughest, and most dangerous street gangs in the city. they all have their colors, they're divided by territories, they rob people when they get a chance, they harrass them if they dont like what they see, they beat them up if they talk smack, and they will shoot you down if they find "probable cause". in the past they wanted to give preferential treatment to celebrities, but now it seems like every cop wants to bust a celebrity in the ass.
a close friend of mine was recently arrested on a five-oh-two after 4 breath-a-lizer exams, and passing several physical tests of intoxication in succession. they professed to be trying to get an accurate reading, but please tell me why it would take so many attempts to get an accurate reading and then not divulge the information of how intoxicated the person was. seems like the more tests you run, and the more readings you get, the less accurate they become because of the amount of results.
one thing all people remember when they're told is those digits that signify why they were arrested. i know people that are 5-10 years past their old five-oh-twos that can still tell you their blood alcohol level when they were "booked", this girl never got a straight answer and it sounds like neither did her parents. what we do know is... its somewhere between 1.0 and 0.08.
now while i know everyone thats arrested is administered a tuberculosis inoculation, she had hers administered and then they requested that she sign the documentation, she refused and they physically forced her. now that was surprising, but not unlikely. she seems upset about the manhandling, and they denied her asthma medication, but thats really to be expected, i mean Rodney King was excessive, the dead people are worst case scenario, so what she experienced was normal, maybe even polite by cop standards. its things like the inoculation that are highly disconcerting and made my sleep very uneasy. they can force blood out of you... medicines into you... they can pretty much violate your civil rights before anyone ever finds out youre arrested. what can you really do by then? your bloods been stolen, youve got their drugs in you, who knows what was in it. thats a scary thought.
from personal experience majority of the police officers are poorly trained, poorly educated and terribly behaved individuals. now, that being said, i also have cops in my family but that doesnt mean i dont fear / hate the police, and the fascism they propagate. in America efficiency seems to mean doing your job as fast as possible while sacraficing quality. the police officers in california as well as other places that have police dificulties that im not yet familiar with, do not just operate at this low level of quality, they define it.
